The Datalogic PowerScan PM9501 2D DPM Evo is the latest generation of robust 2D imagers, specially designed for Direct Part Marking (DPM) technology. With Direct Part Marking technology, barcodes are applied directly to products by laser, engraving, etching or inkjet printing instead of labels. The PowerScan PM9501 DPM Evo is an industrial barcode scanner with High Density optics, designed for reading Direct Part Marking barcodes. In addition, the PM9501 DPM Evo also reads barcodes printed on labels.
In addition to an acoustic signal, the Datalogic PowerScan PM9501 2D DPM Evo provides multiple visual signals when reading bar codes correctly. In addition, the PowerScan PM9501 2D DPM Evo projects a 'Green spot' on the just read barcode when it is properly decoded.
The Datalogic PowerScan PM9501 DPM Evo kit comes standard with a BC9030-433 base station, which provides communication with the computer or host and also serves as a charging station for the PowerScan PM9501 2D DPM Evo barcode scanner. Up to 32 Powerscan PM9501 2D barcode scanners can communicate simultaneously via the base station. The kit is optionally supplied with a USB or RS-232 connection cable. In addition, there is an Ethernet kit that comes with a BC9180-433 base station with Ethernet network connection.
