The Datalogic Gryphon GM4500 2D is the latest generation of top class wireless barcode scanners from Datalogic, equipped with a megapixel sensor for the best performance. The Gryphon GM4500 2D is perfect for handheld use as well as for handsfree use and reads all common 1D and 2D barcodes. The Gryphon GM4500 2D projects a 'Green Spot', a large green dot on the barcode just scanned when it is properly scanned.
A big advantage of the Datalogic GM4500 2D barcode scanner is that it charges contactless. As a result, regular cleaning of the charging contacts is unnecessary and they cannot wear out over time, resulting in poor charging of the scanner.
The Gryphon GM4500 2D is equipped with a clearly visible 4-dot aimer with a laser cross in the middle. The 4-dot aimer indicates exactly the reading zone and with the laser cross of the aimer a specific barcode can be scanned in a situation with multiple barcodes. The white lighting of the Datalogic Gryphon GM4500 2D ensures that coloured labels are better readable. Moreover, the white light is more comfortable for the human eye.
The Datalogic WLC4090-433 base station uses 433MHz wireless technology. This 433MHz technology enables two-way communication and does not interfere with Wi-Fi networks like Bluetooth technology can. A maximum of 16 GM4500 2D barcode scanners can communicate simultaneously with the WLC4090-433 base station.
USB-kit: The USB-kit contains the Datalogic Gryphon GM4500 2D barcode scanner, a base station and a USB cable. This set is mostly used when you want to connect the scanner to a PC or laptop. With the USB-kit, the scanner gets its power from the USB port to which it is connected.
Scanner without base: The 'Scanner without base' contains only the Datalogic Gryphon GM4500 2D wireless barcode scanner, without base station and USB cable. You can use this to replace a faulty scanner or add it to an existing set.
