Nevertheless, the Skorpio X5 is a lightweight all-rounder and has an extensive choice of scan engines for 1D & 2D barcodes, from Standard Range to Extra Long Range. The clear touchscreen display of no less than 10.9 cm (4.3 inch) makes it perfectly possible to use the Skorpio X5 also outdoors.
The 2D Standard Range High Performance Imager reads all common 1D and 2D barcodes both from paper and from a screen. This barcode scanner is equipped with a 4-dot Aimer with laser cross and projects a "Green Spot" onto the just scanned barcode after a good read.
